A funeral is set for Saturday in Simi Valley for Tony Cuppari, a former San Fernando High basketball coach and long-time official who died last Sunday of leukemia. He was 76.

Cuppari served for many years as the assigner of officials in the San Fernando Valley for football, baseball and softball while also officiating many sports. His son, Joey, was a standout receiver at Westlake High.

Services will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Simi Covenant Church, 4680 Alamo Street.
