Football: Southern Section announces early TV, web games

The Harvard-Westlake vs. Loyola game on Thursday, Aug. 23, at L.A. Valley College will be broadcast by Time Warner Cable in the first of the television broadcasts of Southern Section games. The Huntington Beach-El Toro game will be a web broadcast shown on IBN the same night.

On Aug. 24, FS West’s Prep Zone will broadcast Servite-Bishop Amat, Gardena Serra-Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, Arroyo Grande-Lompoc, Muir-Upland. West Covina-Covina will be shown on FS West.

On Aug. 31, Corona Centennial-St. Bonaventure will be broadcast by FS West. Time Warner Cable will broadcast St. Paul-Mater Dei. The Prep Zone games are Servite-Rancho Cucamonga, Mission Viejo-Mission Hills, Heritage-Rancho Verde, Narbonne-Palos Verdes.

On Sept. 7, Valencia-Chaminade will be on FS West. St. Bonaventure-Redlands East Valley will be on Time Warner Cable. The Prep Zone games are Venice-Oaks Christian, Crenshaw-Westlake, Bonita-La Serna, Francis Parker-Rio Hondo.

On Sept. 14, Redlands East Valley vs. Vista Murrieta is the FS West game. Time Warner Cable’s game is Corona del Mar vs. Newport Harbor. The Prep Zone games are Tustin-Beckman, Oaks Christian-Chaminade, St. Francis-La Mirada, Carson-Santa Margarita.

On Sept. 21, Rancho Cucamonga-Riverside North is the Prime Ticket game. Crenshaw-Oaks Christian is the Time Warner Cable game. The Prep Zone games are St. Bonaventure-Santa Margarita, Birmingham-Hart, Narbonne-Serra, San Diego Cathedral-Vista Murrieta.

On Sept. 28, Edison-San Clemente is on FS West. Time Warner Cable’s game is Etiwanda-Corona Centennial. The Prep Zone games are Chaminade-Notre Dame, St. Bonaventure-Westlake, Steele Canyon-Canyon Country Canyon, Culver City-Bishop Union.

IBN and Cox Cable also will be broadcasting games.
