Football: Narbonne is set for three TV appearances

City Section teams are about to benefit from a new TV agreement with Time Warner Cable. Narbonne, the City title favorite, will have two games televised by Time Warner, including Sept. 7 against Long Beach Poly and Oct. 5 against Carson. The Gauchos will also have their Sept. 14 game against Lakewood televised nationally by ESPNU.

Other Time Warner games involving City Section teams: Chaminade vs. Venice on Friday; Norco vs. Crenshaw on Aug. 30; Birmingham at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame on Sept. 14; Alemany vs. Dorsey and Crenshaw vs. Oaks Christian on Sept. 21; San Pedro vs Westchester on Sept. 28; Dorsey vs. Crenshaw on Oct. 19; Arleta vs. Verdugo Hills on Oct. 26.

Time Warner will also televise Southern Section teams Alemany vs. Loyola on Nov. 2; Santa Margarita vs. Orange Lutheran on Oct. 19; St. Paul vs. Chaminade on Oct. 12; Thousand Oaks vs. Moorpark on Oct. 5; Corona del Mar vs. Newport Harbor on Sept. 14; St. Bonaventure vs. Redlands East Valley on Sept. 7; St. Paul vs. Mater Dei on Aug. 31 and Loyola vs. Harvard-Westlake on Thursday.

The Harvard-Westlake-Loyola game will air at midnight on Thursday on Channel 101.
