Football: Marshall-Arleta game is tough to predict

One of the toughest games to predict this week is L.A. Marshall taking on Arleta on Thursday afternoon at Arleta.

The two schools engaged in an offensive shootout in last season, with neither team able to stop the other. Arleta won, 56-42.

Marshall opened with a 40-0 win over Belmont last week. The Barristers still have two important offensive weapons in running back Richmond Vinluan, who rushed for 187 yards, and receiver Jeremy Chavarria, who caught two touchdown passes.

Arleta is trying to replace running back De’Jon Coleman (Sacramento State).
