Football: Long Beach Poly, Serra to make decision on Utah trip

Issues about transportation have created uncertainity whether Long Beach Poly and Gardena Serra will be heading to Sandy, Utah, to play games on Sept. 1.

Poly Athletic Director Robert Shock said a decision will be made Wednesday. He said under a contract signed by Poly, players are supposed travel to the event by airplane.

If Poly and Serra don’t travel to Utah, they could end up playing each other in Southern California.
