Football: High school facilities keep getting bigger and bigger
High schools keep trying to emulate college athletics, and they're coming close with their new facilities.
Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas has opened its 41,324-square-foot Fertitta Athletic Training Center. Take a look here.
According to the Las Vegas Sun, it's got a huge weight lifting area, a four-lane, 60-yard track, a classroom, athletic training room and lots of other things.
Then there's the new $60 million high school stadium in Allen, Texas.
Bigger is apparently better for some high schools.
