Football: Crenshaw is 2-0 after 41-25 victory over Norco

Crenshaw continued its impressive early season play, getting three more touchdown passes from junior quarterback Ajene Harris and 134 yards rushing and two touchdowns from junior running back Jacob Knight in a 41-25 victory over Norco.

Harris completed eight of 11 passes for 150 yards. He has seven touchdown passes in two games. He connected with Max Lyons for 52 yards, Dominique Hatfield for 44 yards and 11 yards to Mossi Johnson.

Coltin Gerhart passed for two touchdowns and rushed for 77 yards for Norco.

St. Bernard transfer Devonte Singleton made his debut for Crenshaw and had some impressive runs on offense.

Dorsey defeated Fairfax, 24-14. Edison defeated Garfield, 24-0. Gardena defeated Taft, 27-26. Venice defeated Sylmar, 34-6. Emanuel Castro scored touchdowns on a kickoff return, a fumble recovery and on a run to lead Birmingham past Kennedy, 48-27.
