Boys’ basketball: Anthony January applies for another year of eligibility

Anthony January, who was the City Section player of the year in basketball at Woodland Hills Taft last season, has applied for a fifth year of athletic eligibility.

The City Section rules committee heard January’s appeal on Tuesday. No decision has been made.

The 6-foot-8 January was considered a senior in athletic eligibility last season.
