Volleyball: Another Muno takes the family spotlight

JJ Muno has been a standout football-baseball player at Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, but his sister, Susannah, a sophomore volleyball-soccer standout, can more than hold her own.

She teamed with Sydney Bast of Glendora St. Lucy’s to win AAU Beach Volleyball National Championship in the 16U division on Sunday at Hermosa Beach.

Also winning a national championship in 16U boys was the team of Tanner Smith from Redondo and Sam Caldwell, who lives in Torrance.
