July 6, 2012 |  8:55 pm

Fairfax and Alemany will play each other in a semifinal game of the St. John Bosco tournament after impressive victories on Friday.

Reggie Theus Jr. was a standout for the Lions in a 71-67 overtime victory over West Ranch and in a 60-55 victory over Orange Lutheran. Fairfax won two games despite the fact Coach Harvey Kitani is out of town working at a camp.

Alemany pulled off the upset of the day, knocking off St. John Bosco, 78-75, in overtime. The Warriors jumped out to a 19-0 lead. Bear Henderson scored 25 points. Darien Williams had 34 points and Daniel Hamilton 27 for St. John Bosco. Alemany defeated Santa Monica, 73-58, later in the day.

Alemany and Fairfax will play at 11 a.m. Bishop Montgomery earned a semifinal spot with a 64-62 win over Windward and will play Santa Ana Mater Dei at 12:15 p.m. Mater Dei defeated Thousand Oaks, 69-50.
