Baseball: Torrance, Banning headed for showdown

Torrance is 8-0 and Wilmington Banning is 7-1 in the South Bay Summer Baseball League. They’re headed for a showdown on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at Torrance.

Banning’s Miguel Ruvalcaba had the game-winning hit in two games last week.

The South Bay all-star game is set for July 17 at 7 p.m. at Marine Park in Manhattan Beach.
