Baseball: San Fernando contingent headed to the state of Iowa

San Fernando High is going to have its own little rooting section at William Penn University in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

That's because a group of San Fernando baseball players are headed to William Penn, according to Coach Armando Gomez.

They include Freddie Flores, Kevin Martinez, Isaac Dominguez and William Vazquez, all key players from the Tigers' 2011 City Section championship team.

Ex-San Fernando players Ricky Alvarez and Rafael Villafana are already playing for William Penn.
