At 22 years old, former Sherman Oaks Notre Dame football-basketball-baseball standout Giancarlo Stanton will be playing in major-league baseball’s All-Star Game.

Stanton, an outfielder for the Miami Marlins who went by the name of Mike Stanton at Notre Dame, was chosen for the National League team. He told the Miami Herald being chosen is ‘one of the most amazing things I’ve done in my life to this point.’
