Track & Field: Notre Dame and Serra earn state titles

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame scored 36 points to win the boys team title at the CIF State Track & Field Championships at Clovis Buchanan High School.

Gardena Serra was second with 32 points and Newport Harbor and La Costa Canyon tied for third with 25 points each.

Serra racked up 60 points to win its first girls title, ending Long Beach Poly’s four-year reign. Oceanside El Camino was second with 36.
