Track & Field: Faulknor makes finals in four events

Gardena Serra senior Alexis Faulknor put in a full day’s work at the CIF State Track & Field Championships in Clovis.

First, she helped the Cavaliers’ 4x100 relay team to the top qualifying time (46.10 seconds), then she won her heat in the 100 meters in 11.55--the second fastest overall time. Two hours later she clocked 23.57 to lead all qualifiers in the 200 meters and top top it off she leaped 19 feet, 4.75 inches for the leading mark in the long jump.
