Soccer: Banning is placed on probation, vacates runner-up spot

The Wilmington Banning boys' soccer program has been placed on probation by the City Section rules committee through the end of the 2013-14 season and will vacate its City runner-up status from the 2010-11 season because it used an ineligible player.

The program is still eligible for the City playoffs. The player played for an outside team during the 2010-11 season.
