IMG Academy to have its first high school football team

IMG Academy, located in Bradenton, Fla., will field its first high school football team beginning in the spring of 2013.

Former Heisman Trophy winner Chris Weinke will be the head coach.

Considering how successful the IMG academies have become in such sports as tennis, soccer and baseball, there's no reason football won't join them.
