Football: Rene Deleon returns to Alemany

Mission Hills Alemany has allowed one of its best athletes, Rene Deleon, to return to school after he withdrew from school last year for disciplinary reasons, according to Randy Thompson, the school's baseball coach and an assistant principal.

Thompson said Deleon has "met certain conditions" he had to fulfill.

Deleon, who is a 6-foot-1, 195-pound senior, is a linebacker in football and a pitcher in baseball. He will only play baseball. He attended Granada Hills this past school year and did not compete in sports.
