It's time for Wednesday night summer football

June 20, 2012 |  8:24 am

The weather is warm, the sky is cloudless and the fans are beginning to get fired up. It's time for some Wednesday night football. Who cares if the pads are off?

If you want to see some seven-on-seven competitions, here are a couple of options for Wednesday night.

At Los Angeles Loyola, Crenshaw, Dominguez and Garfield will join the Cubs for games beginning at 4 p.m.

At Valencia, Hart and West Ranch will join the host Vikings for games starting at 6 p.m.

At Oaks Christian, Thousand Oaks, Sherman Oaks Notre Dame and North Hills Heritage Christian are joining the Lions in games that begin at 4 p.m.

And this weekend, the Bonita tournament begins on Friday. Ditto for the Conejo Valley tournament.
