Football: Bonita tournament is set for Friday and Saturday

The next big seven-on-seven passing tournament of the summer takes place Friday and Saturday at La Verne Bonita.

The tournament begins at 2 p.m. on Friday and lasts all day Saturday, bringing together top teams from the Inland Empire, San Gabriel Valley and San Fernando Valley.

Pool A: Upland, Kaiser, Valencia, Burroughs, Mountain View, Jurupa Hills.

Pool B: Monrovia, Villa Park, Citrus Valley, Chino Hills, Glendora, Walnut.

Pool C: Rancho Cucamonga, Loyola, Crescenta Valley, Duarte, South Hills, Baldwin Park.

Pool D: Hart, Riverside North, South El Monte, Don Lugo, Burbank, Northview.

Pool E: Summit, Bonita, Arroyo, Los Osos, Santa Fe, Ayala.

Valencia, Upland and Hart rank as the favorites based on their early summer performances.
