It was bound to happen, and I’m not complaining.

College football conferences have media days, where they invite the media and the teams to get together with their coaches and star players, so why not do it at the high school level?

The Trinity League, made up of Mater Dei, JSerra, St. John Bosco, Orange Lutheran, Servite and Santa Margarita, is going to do just that, with a Trinity League football media day scheduled for next month at JSerra. And they’re providing lunch, too, which means there should be lots of media in attendance.

Of course, it would help if each school provides a roster, but considering school doesn’t begin until late August, you never know who’s coming and who’s going.

But I have to say the Trinity League has just one upped everybody. Will the Serra League be next?
