Boys’ basketball: Unlimited texting begins Friday

Here’s a reminder to juniors and seniors who play high school basketball. Effective on Friday, college basketball coaches can make unlimited phone calls and send unlimited texts to prospects.

It’s an experiment that could spread to other NCAA sports.

It’s going to be fun to see how the coaches and players handle their new freedom to communicate.
