If it’s summer, it means transfer season is ready to pick up steam, and at Bellflower St. John Bosco, they’re coming and going in rapid fashion.

While the Braves have lost point guard Kameron Murrell to Long Beach Poly, they’ve picked up 6-foot-7 senior Jason Dallas and his 6-9 sophomore brother, Jordan, who enrolled from Long Beach Millikan.

And on Tuesday, 6-8 Darien Williams from Orange Lutheran filed papers to enroll at St. John Bosco.

All will join the Hamilton brothers, Isaac and Daniel.

And the summer has just begun.

Let’s hear it for the CIF people and their great transfer rules. There’s still plenty of time for more moves before school begins. And remember, you don’t even have to change residences anymore to get eligible. You just have to sit out until Dec. 31 for basketball players. What a greal deal.
