Boys' basketball: Services set for former Carson coach Dick Acres

Services for former Carson and Oral Roberts Coach Dick Acres will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Harbor Church in Lomita. Acres died on June 14. He was 78.

Acres was the head coach at Oral Roberts from 1982-85. His two sons, Mark and Jeff, played for him. He coached at Carson during the 1970s.
