Boys' basketball: Price's Chance Murray scores 41 points in defeat

Chance Murray of Los Angeles Price scored 41 points in the championship game of the Compton Dominguez tournament, but it was not enough, because Lawndale Leuzinger pulled out a 64-62 win on a three-point shot by Eric Childress at the buzzer.

Childress finished with 25 points.

La Verne Lutheran defeated Compton, 51-42, in the third-place game. Dominguez defeated Compton Centennial, 54-43, with EJ Johnson scoring 17 points.

Beverly Hills defeated Long Beach Millikan, 70-69. It was St. Anthony 49, Cantwell-Sacred Heart 47. Eric Cooper had 17 points.

Other scores: Long Beach Jordan 70, Morningside 45; Ocean View 77, Washington 52.
