Boys’ basketball: Lots of games for prep fans this week

This coming week in prep basketball will offer fans plenty of opportunities to see top teams and top players. You might also need a police escort to avoid traffic to see as many games as possible.

The Fairfax tournament begins on Monday. So does the Westchester tournament. The championship games in both tournaments are set for Saturday at 6 p.m.

Also going on this week is the Compton Dominguez tournament that begins on Tuesday and has its championship game on Saturday at 6 p.m.

Tuesday’s Dominguez schedule: Compton vs. St. Anthony, 3:30 p.m.; Dorsey vs. Long Beach Millikan, 4:45 p.m.; Price vs. Washington, 6 p.m.; Compton Centennial vs. Cantwell-Sacred Heart, 7:15 p.m. Wednesday: Ocean View vs. Leuzinger, 4 p.m.; Dominguez vs. Roybal, 5:15 p.m.; Pacific Hills vs. Beverly Hills, 6:15 p.m.; La Verne Lutheran vs. Morningside, 7:30 p.m.
