Boys' basketball: ECR gets 6-8 transfer from Santa Clara

Woodland Hills El Camino Real, the defending City Section Division II champion, is moving up to Division I this coming season, and the Conquistadores just got a lot stronger with the enrollment of 6-foot-8 junior Blair Orr from Oxnard Santa Clara.

El Camino Real already returns guards Julian Richardson and Maleke Haynes, plus forward Michael Thomas. Adding a center to the group puts the Conquistadores in ideal position to face the likes of Westchester, Dorsey and Taft.
