The Southwest Future all-star series held this past weekend at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton showed off top seniors for 2013. Cypress catcher Tyler Alamo and Trabuco Hills pitcher-first baseman Kevin Wade left little doubt they will be top pro prospects for 2013.

Alamo is one of the best hitters in Southern California. Wade can hit and pitch. He’s 6 feet 4, 220 pounds.

El Toro might be the team to beat in Southern Section Division 1 next season based on returning three outstanding pitchers in Chasen Ford, Steven Villines and Ryan Kayoda. There’s no team in Southern California that will be able to match El Toro in the pitching depth department.
