When Luke Eubank of Newbury Park recorded a strikeout to end the Southern Section Division 1 championship game at Dodger Stadium on Friday night, Newbury Park fans started charging onto the field.
That’s not supposed to happen. It was a clear security breakdown and the question is whether students might be facing suspensions since school is still in session.
Newbury Park Coach Matt Goldfield said, ‘If they get suspended, I’ll go to bat for them.’
