Baseball: Southwest Future All-Star Series is this weekend

Many of the top junior baseball players in the Southland will be participating Saturday and Sunday in the Southwest Future All-Star Series at the Urban Youth Academy in Compton.

The championship game will be played on Sunday at 5 p.m.

Another all-star game is set for Saturday at 6:30 p.m. at Birmingham High. That's the City-Southern Section all-star game involving San Fernando Valley seniors.
