Baseball: Sheldon Philip-Guide is out as Santa Monica coach

Sheldon Philip-Guide, the head baseball coach at Santa Monica since 2010, has been told he won't be returning as coach, according to parents of the program.

Guide graduated from Santa Monica in 1992 and had lots of supporters. He won two Ocean League titles and said he received a call from the vice principal informing him of his ouster with no explanation.
