Baseball: Orange Lutheran’s Jason Martin is South MVP

Orange Lutheran outfielder Jason Martin was selected the most valuable player for the South team in the California Baseball Coaches’ Assn. North-South Series at San Diego State.

The South tied the North, 5-5, on Sunday. Martin had an RBI single in the game.

Infielder Kyle Czaplak from Pacific Grove High School was named the most outstanding player in the series. Pitcher Andrew Buckley from De La Salle was named the North team MVP.
