June 2, 2012 | 12:12 pm

With starting pitcher Brayden Harris throwing strikes, North Hollywood won its first City Section title since 1957 by defeating South Gate, 10-5, in the Division II championship game at Dodger Stadium.

Harris, a junior, threw six innings and walked just one batter while scattering eight hits.

North Hollywood broke the game open in the third inning with seven runs. The Huskies (19-15), who finished in sixth place in the East Valley League, got three hits from Marvin Galvez and two from Eddie Torres. The Huskies took advantage of seven walks and two hit batters.

South Gate, the top-seeded team in the tournament, finished 19-10.
