Volleyball: Nick Porterfield leads Loyola into Division 1 semifinals

UCLA-bound Nick Porterfield contributed 17 kills and Driss Guessous had 10 kills to lead Los Angeles Loyola past Westlake Village Westlake in a Southern Section Division 1 quarterfinal match. Loyola won, 28-26, 25-20, 25-23.

Loyola will play Servite in the semifinals on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Loyola. The other semifinal will have Esperanza playing at Mira Costa.
