Volleyball: It's a Granada Hills-Palisades final

Granada Hills and Palisades advanced to the City Section Division I championship match in volleyball with semifinal victories.

Granada Hills defeated Taft, 25-15, 25-19, 25-21. Jino Labao and Billy De La Espriella each had 11 kills.

Top-seeded Palisades defeated West Adams in three sets.

Granada Hills will play Palisades for the City championship at 5 p.m. on Saturday at Venice.

In Division II, Jordan defeated Maywood and Verdugo Hills defeated Eagle Rock, setting up a championship rematch from last year that saw Jordan defeat the Dons.
