Track: Young shot putters triumph in Mission League
Sophomore Amir Patterson of Crespi won the Mission League championship in the boys' shot put on Wednesday with a personal best of 59-2 1/2. He also won the discus with another personal best of 171-3.
In the girls' shot put, freshman Nia Britt of Alemany won with an effort of 47-8.
