Track: Gardena Serra sweeps Division 4 titles

May 21, 2012 |  7:16 am

The athletes walking around campus at Gardena Serra are many based on the fact the Cavaliers won Southern Section track and field championships in Division 4 boys' and girls'.

No other school pulled off that feat at Saturday's Southern Section championships.

Other champions for boys': Vista Murrieta (Division 1), Loyola (Division 2), Rio Mesa (Division 3). Other champions for girls': Long Beach Poly (Division 1), Simi Valley (Division 2), South Pasadena (Division 3).

The Masters Meet will be held Friday night at Cerritos College.

The City Section championships are set for Wednesday night at Birmingham.
