Track & field: State berths at stake in Masters Meet

The Southern Section Masters Meet has begun at Cerritos College in Norwalk and athletes will be vying for spots in the state championships June 1-2 at Buchanan High School in Clovis.

The girls and boys long jump, girls high jump, girls discus and boys pole vault events are underway.

Running events are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. The top five finishers in each event advance to the state meet along with competitors who meet state qualifying standards.
