Track & Field: Baxter repeats as Masters 3200 champ

Simi Valley sophomore Sarah Baxter clocked 10:08.75 to win the girl 3200 meter race at the Southern Section Masters Meet for the second straight time. Laura Hollander of Huntington Beach Marina finished second in 10:17.28 and Xochitl Navarette of Ontario Colony was third in 10:26.84.

Senior Danny Martinez of Bellflower St. John Bosco won the boys 3200 meters in 9:04.25. Riverside Norte Vista’s Omar Caro was second in 9:05.87 and Jonah Diaz of Palo Verdes was third in 9:05.95.
