Track: Dorsey tunes up for City Section prelims

Dorsey had lots of runners come through at the Coliseum League track and field finals, led by Rashard Clark, who won the 200 in 21.91 and the 400 in 48.89.

Locke’s Devonte O’Connor took the 100 in 10.73, with Jaydon Mickens of Dorsey finishing second in 10.99.

Dorsey’s Reggie Bell, a junior, won the 110 hurdles in 14.89. Dorsey’s Regis Bula went 45-9 in the triple jump. Dorsey’s 400-meter relay team won in 42.66.

Dorsey is considered one of the favorites, along with Carson and Taft, to win the City boys’ team title. The City prelims will take place Thursday at Birmingham, followed by the finals on Wednesday, May 23.
