Softball: St. Lucy's coach resigns

One week before the start of the Southern Section softball playoffs, Glendora St. Lucy's has lost its coach, Ryan Nuveman, who resigned for "personal reasons."

Nuveman and two of his assistants were not at Tuesday's game against Charter Oak. The new coach is assistant Laura Macias.

St. Lucy's is ranked No. 3 in Division 3.
