Softball: Home run No. 52 for Carson's Darian Tautalafua

Carson's Darian Tautalafua hit her 52nd career home run on Wednesday in the top-seeded Colts' 19-0 City Section first-round softball victory over Marshall.

It moves her to within one home run of tying the state record for career home runs.

No. 2 El Camino Real defeated Bell, 13-0. No. 5 Lincoln defeated Westchester, 5-1.

No. 3 Banning defeated Verdugo Hills, 14-3. Noelani Boyer had four hits and scored four runs. No. 7 San Pedro defeated Poly, 12-0.
