Softball: El Camino Real closing in on 14th City title

El Camino Real increased its lead to 5-0 over Carson in the top of the seventh inning and needs three more outs to win its 14th City Section championship.

Already leading 3-0 going into the final inning, the Conquistadores are leaving nothing to chance after losing last year’s final to the Colts. Emily Waterbury doubled to the right field wall to score Whitney West and Waterbury scored on Jasmin Joseph’s infield single.
