Softball: Career record for home runs is within reach for Darian Tautalafua

At some point this season, Carson shortstop Darian Tautalafua is almost certain to set a state record in softball for most career home runs.

She has 51 in her four-year career. The state record is 53. She has hit 15 this season.

"She has a great command of the strike zone," Coach Cam Warner said.

Tautalafua is headed to Long Beach State for college softball.
