Golf: Camarillo's Johnny Ruiz wins Southern Section title

Johnny Ruiz of Camarillo shot a 66 to win the Southern Section individual championship on Monday at Victoria Country Club in Riverside.

Blake Barens of Orange Lutheran finished second after shooting a 67 and Bradley Fox of Ontario Christian took third with a 69.

Twenty-eight golfers advance to the CIF/SCGA tournament on May 31 at Brookside Golf Course.
