Vista Murrieta, coming off a 10-4 season and an Inland Division championship, begins spring football practice on Monday, and Coach Coley Candaele said the focus will be on the offensive line and secondary.

The Mustangs return the No. 1 college prospect in the state, Su’a Cravens, and quarterback Nicholas Stevens, so those are two players to build around.

Cravens will be used at linebacker, defensive back, running back and receiver.

‘We’ll use him everywhere,’ Candaele said.

Cravens is a little more than three weeks away from announcing his college choice on June 6. Of course, nothing is finalized until letter of intent day in February, but the school he picks and the team’s fans will get to celebrate early.
