Football players at Anaheim Canyon have been supporting Coach Brent McKee, who had surgery for kidney cancer last fall and had to miss much of the season.

He has recovered and returned to the team and now the players are participating in the Relay for Life this weekend in honor of their coach and trying to raise funds for cancer research.

The team finished 0-10 but seeing them come together is pretty impressive.

‘They are using sports to learn life lessons and are winning off the field,’ said one parent.
