Football: QB Hayden Rettig commits to LSU

Junior quarterback Hayden Rettig of L.A. Cathedral has committed to Louisiana State, Coach Kevin Pearson said Tuesday.

"He likes the pro-style offense," Pearson said.

The nearly 6-foot-4 Rettig has recovered from a torn ACL and a torn meniscus that required surgery last year.

He is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to LSU this weekend but committed Monday night.
