Football: Dashon Hunt opens up recruiting

Junior cornerback Dashon Hunt of Westlake was previously committed to the former UCLA coaching staff, but Coach Jim Benkert said that Hunt was told by the new coaching staff no final decision has been made about offering him a scholarship, so he has begun looking at other options.

He has offers from Colorado, Nebraska, Washington, Washington State and Hawaii, among others.

Benkert said Hunt still likes UCLA.
