Football: Bill Redell says he’s ready for another challenge

After being named football coach at Occidental College on Friday, Bill Redell said he’s up for the latest challenge after spending the last 12 seasons as coach at Westlake Village Oaks Christian.
He said he was prepared to retire but then the position opened at his alma mater.
‘I did the right thing resigning at Oaks Christian, but I should have thought it through to have something to go to,’ he said.
